ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

Hey everyone,

Here I have brought another blog for you guys. I am sharing my point of view on the environmental situation in New Delhi at a time of Diwali.

New Delhi’s air pollution hit dangerous level as India celebrated Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. As we all know Diwali, which marks the Hindu new year and it celebrated with a riot of firecrackers across the country. Crackers release poisonous gases and tiny particles suspended in the air that can harm or effect our body by lungs diseases. We need to make people aware that their activities like burning crackers should not release more emission when our air is already so polluted. I am really scared about animals which can adversely affect them. Along with kids, pollution mainly affects them because they breathe twice as fast as adults, taking in more air and pollutants which affects their growth and immune system.

We all know that New Delhi has an air pollution problem. It is the 11th worst polluted city in the world.

As winter begins to roll in and Delhi suffers from seasonal smog, calls are once again going out for drastic measures. For those who travels at night was very risky for them. We have to make some tough calls to prevent Delhi from the pollution. If the implementation was the goal Delhi’s trial of odd-even rule is a bold attempt to rein in air pollution. Car with odd number registration plates would ply on odd dates and even number registration plates would do so on even dates. Other than this supreme court also banned diesel cars above 2000cc in the national capital. Along with the government, the general public also need to be aware and needs to make changes in their lives, which can reduce the risk of collapse.
